About
Mega Maldives Airlines was the national carrier of the Maldives. It was an integrated service provider specialising in holiday travel to, from, and within Asia. The carrier provided international scheduled and charter operations from both Male International Airport and Gan Island Airport. The carrier suspend commercial flight operations from 02-May-2017 to restructure the company with the aim of recapitalisation. Mega Maldives Airlines considered planned to resume operations, however, it entered voluntary liquidation on 27-Feb-2018 after failing to secure a new investor and restart operations.
