Mega Maldives Airlines was the national carrier of the Maldives. It was an integrated service provider specialising in holiday travel to, from, and within Asia. The carrier provided international scheduled and charter operations from both Male International Airport and Gan Island Airport. The carrier suspend commercial flight operations from 02-May-2017 to restructure the company with the aim of recapitalisation. Mega Maldives Airlines is considering plans to resume operations with A330 aircraft, instead of previously operated Boeing 767.
