The airline operates from its hub at Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport to domestic and international destinations throughout South America and the Caribbean. The carrier also operates a service to Madrid, Spain. Conviasa is wholly-government owned, with the airline coming under the control of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Conviasa operates a diverse fleet of turboprop as well as narrow and wide-body jet aircraft.
