CAPA India announces executive promotions

(New Delhi, 21 December 2013) CAPA India is pleased to announce the internal promotion of two key executives based in the New Delhi office. Binit Somaia, Director South Asia stated that, "the new roles which came into effect from the beginning of December are designed to enhance CAPA India's ability to deliver high quality and timely consulting, research, aircraft and capital advisory services, education and training, and to generate new revenue streams."

The executives that have been promoted are:

Paramprit Singh Bakshi

Paramprit Singh Bakshi has been elevated to the position of Senior Manager. He will be responsible for India-based activities with respect to consulting, research and all new strategic initiatives including corporate management functions. Paramprit has more than 15 years experience in managing multi-functional, cross-industry consulting, research and advisory projects. Prior to joining CAPA in 2011 he was Associate Director and Practice Lead for a UK headquartered consultancy offering market research and intelligence solutions, with responsibility for account management, delivery and operations. He had earlier held management, operations and analyst roles with a number of financial institutions and private equity funds such as ICICI, HDFC, Indiabulls, UKLI Real Estate and Saffron Asset Advisors. Paramprit holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Dr. G.H. Singhania Institute of Management & Research, has completed certification in project management, advanced research methodologies and business strategy, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Satyendra Pandey

Satyendra Pandey has been promoted from Associate Manager to Manager Operations with responsibility for delivery of consulting and research projects handled from CAPA's Delhi office and for managing a team of associate managers, analysts and support staff. Satyendra has more than 10 years experience in the airline and travel industries, primarily in the United States where he held positions with US Airways, Avis and Northwest Airlines. Key areas of expertise include organisational design, change management, research and analytics, communication and stakeholder engagement. Within the aviation industry he has wide-ranging experience spanning airport operations, airline marketing and public relations, route development, customer touch points, ancillary revenues and regulatory issues. Satyendra joined CAPA in 2012 after completing his MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney, which included an international exchange with the London Business School. He also holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Loyola University in Chicago.
