Wizz Air to open London base in Jun-2017

Wizz Air announced (16-Feb-2017) plans to open its 28th base at London Luton Airport with one new A320 aircraft on 18-Jun-2017. London Luton will be the carrier's first UK base and increase the number of routes served from the airport to 42. The carrier plans the following launches and frequency increases - see Route Changes Table for more information:

• London Luton-Kutaisi: Twice weekly service, from 18-Jun-2017;
• London Luton-Tel Aviv: Four times weekly service, from 24-Jun-2017;
• London Luton-Pristina: Twice weekly service, from 24-Jun-2017;
• London Luton-Iasi: Frequency to increase from five times weekly to daily;
• London Luton-Suceava: Frequency to increase from four to five times weekly;
• London Luton-Constanta: Frequency to increase from two to four times weekly.
