Volaris operating profit doubles in 1Q2016

Volaris revenue up 38% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2016:

    • Non-ticket: MXN1276 million (USD70.8 million), +50.8%;

    • Aircraft and engine lease: MXN1219 million (USD67.7 million), +61.5%;
    • Fuel: MXN1013 million (USD56.2 million), -3.6%;
  • Operating profit: MXN836 million (USD46.4 million), +142%;
  • Net profit: MXN602 million (USD33.4 million), +96.4%;
  • Passenger numbers: 3.4 million, +36.6%;
