Visitor arrivals to Taiwan soar 46% in Jun-2010

Taiwan Tourism Bureau reports (19-Jul-2010) total visitor arrivals to Taiwan soar 46.4% year-on-year to 470,447 in Jun-2010. Details include:

Total visitor arrivals: 470,447, +46.4% year-on-year;
- Asia: 403,847, +57.0%;
  - Mainland China: 135,603, +136.0%;
  - Japan: 82,806, +34.2%;
  - Hong Kong: 77,918, +26.2%;
  - Malaysia: 24,385, +172.7%;
- America: 44,002, +10.2%;
- Europe: 15,534, -6.0%;
- Oceania: 5,244, +7.2%;
- Africa: 589,+9.7%.
