Vietnam Airlines to establish US services in 2012

Vietnam Airlines will not open a route to the US until 2012 when Vietnam's flight safety is recognised by the uS Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) (TBKTSG, 28-Jun-2011). According to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV), FAA officials are expected to visit Vietnam in 2012 to evaluate the country's capacity of overseeing flight safety in accordance with the International Aviation Safety Oversight Audit.
