VietJet has 'very big plans' with Emirates: VP commercial

VietJet Air VP commercial Jay L Lingeswara, speaking at Routes Asia 2025, stated (27-Mar-2025) the airline has "very big plans" with Emirates, related to expansion into Europe and beyond. Mr Lingeswara said 2025 will be "an exciting year" and VietJet aims to expand to Europe and the US, subject to aircraft availability, capability and operating economics. As previously reported by CAPA, VietJet and Emirates announced a cooperation MoU in late Oct-2024.
