US BTS reports 1.7% fall in airline employment
US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) stated (19-Oct-2010) US passenger airline employment levels fell 1.7% year-on-year in Aug-2010. Details include:
- Full time equivalent employee levels: -1.7% year-on-year;
- Network: -0.9%;
- LCCs: +2%;
- Regional: -7.2%.
