UAE and India discuss stronger bilateral ties, including aviation

UAE and India announced (10-Feb-2010) plans to reinforce bilateral relations between the two nations, in particular trade exchange and increasing mutual investment projects. UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al-Qasimi, also met with Indian Minister for Civil Aviation, Praful Patel, to discuss improvements to bilateral commercial aviation and the possibility of expediting the approval of applications submitted by some UAE airlines to commence services to India.
