Thailand establishes Slot Coordination Committee for Suvarnabhumi Airport

Thailand's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) established the Slot Coordination Committee (SCC) to ensure the fair allocation of departure and arrival slots at Suvarnabhumi Airport after a number of carriers suggested Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) had been favouring Thai Airways when awarding slots (Bangkok Post, 01-Jul-2010). The SCC will commence work in Sep-2010 to consider time slots for the 2011 summer timetable which begins the end of Mar-2011.
