Thai Airways waives right to subscribe for new Nok Air shares, reduces shareholding

Thai Airways waived (13-Feb-2019) its right to subscribe for 198.2 million ordinary shares, valued at THB544.93 million (USD17.3 million), in the sale of newly issued ordinary shares by Nok Air. As a result, Thai Airways' shareholding in Nok Air decreased from 21.8% to 15.9%. Nok Air issued new shares to existing shareholders in proportion to their shareholdings at a price of THB2.75 (USD0.09) and a ratio of 2.5 existing shares to one new share. Nok Air reported 836.5 million subscribed shares and 72.3 million remaining shares on 13-Feb-2019. Nok Air's paid up capital increased from THB2.27 billion (USD72.3 million) to THB3.11 billion (USD98.9 million) as of 13-Feb-2019.
