Thai Airways staff support plans for LCC JV with Tiger

Thai Airways has received support from a majority of its staff over plans to form a JV with Tiger Airways to launch LCC, Thai Tiger Airways (Bangkok Post, 24-Aug-2010). The carrier conducted two separate polls, one for technical, ground operations and cabin crew and another for pilots, with 80% and almost 70%, respectively, in favour of the plans.
