Thai Airways receives first A350
Thai Airways received (30-Aug-2016) its first A350-900 on lease from CIT on 30-Aug-2016. The aircraft is configured with 32 'Royal Silk Class' and 289 economy seats and will initially be used on Bangkok-Chiang Mai service before being deployed on Bangkok-Melbourne service in mid Sep-2016. The airline is the eighth A350 operator and has another 11 A350s on order, including four purchased directly from Airbus and eight under lease agreements.
