Swift Air's reorganisation plan granted final approval by bankruptcy court

Swift Air stated (02-Oct-2013) the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona granted the company's plan of reorganisation final approval. The carrier expects to leave bankruptcy protection by the middle of Oct-2013. Swift Air CEO Jeff Conry said the approval "is an important milestone in the company's continuing steps to complete its financial restructuring and emerge from chapter 11 in the very near future. We are gratified to have the support of our plan sponsor, Nimbos Holdings, as well as the Official Creditors' Committee." Nimbos Holdings principal Ken Woolley said: "We are very excited about the company's upcoming emergence from chapter 11, and look forward to a very successful future with the company."
