Sun Group’s aviation build-out around Phu Quoc accelerated after the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam transferred Phu Quoc International Airport to Sun Group subsidiary Sun Airport Corporation on 01-Jan-2026, alongside upgrades including ePass tolling and free WiFi.1 Sun Group also signed a cooperation agreement with Changi Airports International for advisory support on Phu Quoc’s operations, commercial programme, connectivity and capacity and service enhancements.2
