Sukhoi Civil Aircraft to deliver five SSJ100 aircraft to CityJet in 2017

Russia's Vnesheconombank (VEB) signed (29-Nov-2016) a Memorandum of Cooperation with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) and Superjet International SpA (SJI) for financing the delivery of five Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (SSJ10) to CityJet in 2017. The aircraft will be manufactured by SCA and customised by Russian-Italian joint venture SJI. VEB deputy chairman Nikolay Tsekhomsky said: "The Sukhoi Superjet 100 export deal is a signal for the European aviation market that a new strong player has entered... Vnesheconombank will strive to support strategic export supplies as this helps to secure a strong position for Russian products on the global market."
