CityJet
About
Formerly a subsidiary of Air France-KLM S.A., CityJet is an Irish-headquartered regional airline with its main hub at London City Airport. CityJet services 16 destinations across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and France. In Apr-2014, CityJet and its subsidary VLM were acquired by the German company, INTRO Aviation. The company plans for CityJet to continue to grow services from London City to European destinations and maintain services on behalf of AirFrance from Paris-CDG. Intro's stake in VLM Airlines was divested to the carrier's management in Nov-2014. In 2016, Founder Pat Byrne and a group of private investors acquired the carrier from INTRO Aviation. Mr Byrne plans to float the carrier on the stock market within the next three years.
