Sukhoi Corporation is Russia’s major military and civil aircraft manufacturer and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PJSC United Aviation Corporation. The corporation was established following the merger of Sukhoi, Mikoyan, Ilyushin, Irkut, Tupolev, and Yakovlev. Sukhoi was founded in 2000 to design, produce, market and support civil aircraft programmes. The corporation employs over 26,000 people across its main divisions of Sukhoi Design Bureau, KnAAPO, NAPO, Irkut SPC, TANKT and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCAC). Headquartered in Moscow, SCAC has branches at the main production sites located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Novosibirsk and Voronezh. Sukhoi Civil is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company.
