Southwest ranks first in pax enplanements in Jan-2012
US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported (24-Apr-2012) the following top 10 airlines by total scheduled passenger enplanements in Jan-2012:
- Southwest: 8.2 million, -1.7% year-on-year;
- Delta: 8.1 million, +1.6%;
- United Continental*: 7.0 million, +79.7%;
- American Airlines: 6.8 million, +1.0%;
- US Airways: 4.3 million, +6.5%;
- ExpressJet**: 2.2 million, +126.2%;
- JetBlue: 2.2 million, +13.1%;
- SkyWest: 1.7 million, -7.5%;
- AirTran: 1.6 million, -4.5%;
