Emirates selected Safran Seats' Z400 seats for economy class as part of a broader retrofit programme covering 60 A380s and 51 Boeing 777s, with upgrades commencing from August 2026. The retrofit will also introduce S Lounge seats in business class, advanced premium economy seating from RECARO, and new inflight entertainment and connectivity systems across both aircraft types1 2.
