Safran denies it is preparing an offer for Zodiac Aerospace

Safran stated (30-Aug-2010) it is not in the process of preparing an offer for Zodiac Aerospace. The company reiterated its Jul-2010 statement that it had addressed a letter to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zodiac proposing the groups examine the merits of bringing their activities together, although no new developments have occurred since. Zodiac rejected the proposal. Safran remains convinced of the industrial and strategic logic of bringing together the activities of both groups. [more]
