RDIF, Basic Element and CAI acquire Vladivostok Knevichi Airport shares

Russia's Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Basic Element and Changi Airports International (CAI) consortium completed (22-Feb-2017) the acquisition of shares in Vladivostok Knevichi Airport from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. Management of the airport will be taken over by the consortium, with plans to develop the airport into a leading aviation hub for domestic and international traffic by strengthening air connectivity and improving its passenger experience. The consortium plans to add destinations in Russia, Japan, China, Vietnam and South Korea to the airport's route network and realise the potential of five million passengers p/a in the medium term.
