Qatar Airways rises to become world's leading cargo carrier

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled 'Cargo demand & supply: Qatar Airways reinforces global #1 position', stated (21-Jan-2021) Qatar Airways, which was the world's second largest cargo carrier by FTKs in 2019, has risen to become the leading airline by cargo payload, accounting for almost 10% of total volumes. In 2020, the carrier was one of the first to seek out new cargo markets and modify passenger aircraft for cargo operations. The airline was also supported by its cooperation with Doha Hamad International Airport.
