Qantas to reportedly increase stake in Jetstar Pacific to 30% by 2010

Qantas reportedly plans to increase its stake in Jetstar Pacific to 30% by 2010 (VietNamNet, 13-Oct-2009). The carrier currently holds a 27% stake in the LCC, with Vietnam's State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) holding a 51% stake and other domestic investors holding the remaining 22%. According to Jetstar CEO, Bruce Buchanan, Jetstar Pacific has increased its load factor from less than 80% when it took over the carrier, to 85%.
