Qantas passenger numbers up 5.1% in Feb-2011
Qantas Airways reports (30-Mar-2011) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 3.3 million, +5.1% year-on-year;
- Qantas Domestic: 1.3 million, -0.8%;
- Qantas International: 466,000, +0.9%;
- Jetstar Domestic: 728,000, +15.2%;
- Jetstar International: 326,000, +5.2%;
- QantasLink: 351,000, +8.7%;
- Jetstar Asia: 215,000, +14.4%;
- Passenger load factor: 77.9%, -1.6 ppts;
- Qantas Domestic: 76.6%, -2.5 ppts;
- Qantas International: 80.3%, +0.2 ppt;
- Jetstar Domestic: 77.8%, -4.9 ppts;
- Jetstar International: 75.1%, -4.6 ppts;
- QantasLink: 64.6%, +1.3 ppts;
- Jetstar Asia: 76.1%, -3.0 ppts. [more]
Qantas: "Total Domestic (Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar Domestic operations) yield excluding foreign exchange for the financial year to February 2011 was 0.2% higher when compared to the corresponding prior year period. Total International (Qantas and Jetstar International operations) yield excluding foreign exchange for the financial year to February 2011 was 10.2% higher when compared to the corresponding prior year period.
