Qantas Group passenger numbers up 9.5% in Sep-2010

Qantas Group passenger numbers up 9.5% - traffic highlights in Sep-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.8 million, +9.5% year-on-year;
  • Load factor: 82.6%, -1.0 ppt;
    • Qantas Domestic: 82.5%, -1.1 ppts;
    • QantasLink: 72.3%, +1.6 ppts;
    • Jetstar Domestic: 82.2%, -2.2 ppts;
    • Qantas International: 84.7%, -1.3 ppts;
    • Jetstar International: 80.5%, +0.7 ppt;
    • Jetstar Asia: 74.4%, +1.8 ppts. [more]

Qantas: “Total domestic (Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar Domestic operations) yield excluding foreign exchange for the financial year to Sep-2010 was 1.3% higher when compared to the corresponding prior year period. Total international (Qantas and Jetstar International operations) yield excluding foreign exchange for the financial year to Sep-2010 increased by 13.6% when compared to the corresponding prior year period.
