Qantas CEO: Qantas partnership with Emirates is a 'match made in heaven'

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (08-Aug-2013) the success of the Qantas-Emirates partnership not only stems from cooperative chemistry between management, but also because both networks complement each other, stating: "This partnership will get bigger and better than what it is right now". Mr Joyce said extensive market research had indicated Qantas is the most preferred airline Australians prefer to fly with, followed by Emirates, thus the match of the two airlines is a "match in heaven". Mr Joyce added, "The chemisty between the two airlines [is] ongoing and will get better."
