Qantas cancels membership with Association of Asia Pacific Airlines

Qantas cancelled its 40 year membership with the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA), stating it now plans to develop relationships with other carriers directly, rather than through the AAPA, adding its interests now extend beyond those of the association (The Age, 06-Jan-2010).
