Qantas believes 'IAG model is a great model'; 'small airlines will not survive without synergies'

Qantas Airways Group CEO Alan Joyce, speaking at a media briefing at the IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit, stated (05-Jun-2018) he believes the "IAG model is a great model," noting that the synergies it has created is "working well" and each airline has succeeded in maintaining its own brand and operation. Mr Joyce stated that in many cases, "small airlines will not survive without synergies" created by being part of a wider aviation growth.
