Qantas planned to launch Economy Plus on domestic, New Zealand and Pacific Islands routes from February 2026, with A321XLR and A220 aircraft delivered with the new seating, and 737 reconfigurations set to start in December 20251. The carrier also announced a major Boeing 737 cabin upgrade, including new seats and overhead lockers, with refurbishments commencing from 20272. Qantas’ A330-200s were also slated for significant cabin upgrades by end-20263.
