Qantas Airways Group passenger numbers up 3% in May-2013, Group yields down

Qantas Airways Group passenger numbers up 2.8% – traffic highlights for May-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.8 million, +2.8% year-on-year;
    • Qantas Domestic: 1.4 million, +2.9%;
    • Qantas International: 427,000, stable;
    • Jetstar Domestic: 834,000, +0.6%;
    • Jetstar International: 380,000, +5.8%;
    • QantasLink: 453,000, +2.8%;
    • Jetstar Asia: 307,000, +9.8%;
  • Passenger load factor: 74.5%, -2.0 ppts;
    • Qantas Domestic: 75.1%, -1.9 ppts;
    • Qantas International: 73.4%, -3.7 ppts;
    • Jetstar Domestic: 80.8%, -0.3 ppt;
    • Jetstar International: 73.4%, +1.5 ppts;
    • QantasLink: 62.7%, -2.0 ppts;
