Polar Air Cargo SVP reports 'substantial' trans-Pacific trade

Polar Air Cargo SVP and chief management officer Kersti Krepp, speaking at the IATA AGM, stated (04-Jun-2024) the company does a "substantial" amount of trans-Pacific trade, adding government regulations have "tested our company's agility in terms of how to operate and how to schedule". Ms Krepp said during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was "extraordinarily gratifying because we knew we were saving lives by moving the goods that we were moving during that time". She noted: "Agility is the new stability in air cargo".
