Philippines domestic pax numbers down 2% in 1Q2013, int'l pax up 5%

Philippines Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) reports (17-May-2013) total passenger numbers rose 1.2% year-on-year to 9.6 million for the three months ended Mar-2013. Details include:

  • Passenger numbers: 9.6 million, +1.2% year-on-year;
    • Domestic passengers: 5.1 million, -2%;
    • Domestic load factor: 75%;
    • International passengers: 4.5 million, +5%.

      • Cebu Pacific: 733,127;
      • PAL Express: 49,222;
      • Philippine Airlines: 988,889;
      • Seair: 78,708;
      • Zest Airways: 151,906.
    • International load factor:
      • AirAsia Philippines: 74%;
      • Cebu Pacific: 77%;
      • PAL Express: 57%;
      • Philippine Airlines: 70%;
      • Seair: 69%;
      • Zest Airways: 73%
