Passenger traffic at Vietnamese airports up 31% in 1H2016: CAAV

Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) reported (08-Jul-2016) passenger traffic at airports in Vietnam increased 31% year-on-year to 38 million in 1H2016. Domestic passenger numbers increased 33% to 14 million. Vietnamese airlines operated more than 128,000 services, with the rate of cancellations increasing 0.1 ppt to 0.6% and delays increasing 0.8 ppt to 15.8%. CAAV stated Jetstar Pacific, VietJet Air and Vietnam Airlines expanded domestic operations during 1H2016.
