Oman PACA informs airlines of COVID-19 requirements

Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), via its official Twitter account, issued (24-Jul-2020) a circular for Omani airlines, informing of several requirements, including the following:

  • Citizens and foreigners are allowed to depart Oman without a permit;
  • Citizens and foreigners arriving into Oman are subject to 14 days of quarantine, and foreigners must present confirmation of accommodation and means to cover expenses. Aircraft crew are exempt from this requirement, and remain subject to precautionary measures issued by Oman's Ministry of Health;
  • Passengers arriving into Oman must download and start the registration process on the Tarassud+ application before arrival, and pay OMR5 (USD12.99) to obtain a tracking bracelet to wear during quarantine;
  • Non Omanis must hold a permit in order to be permitted entry into Oman.
