Network Aviation says association with Qantas Group allows economies of scale in FIFO contracts

Network Aviation CEO Hugh Davin, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (06-Aug-2014) the airline's ability to leverage on the infrastructure of its parent Qantas Group allows a fully automated process for its FIFO customers, matching that of a commercial operator. Mr Davin said Network Aviation is working with a number of resources companies to seamlessly integrate with their camp operations, noting: "The arguments of cost effectiveness when dealing with the huge volumes these companies deal with means the economies of scale that come in through automation are pretty easy to understand."
