Melbourne Airport foresees bag drop points moving out of terminals to garages and train stations

Australia's Melbourne Tullamarine Airport GM strategy, planning & development Bryan Thompson, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (06-Aug-2014) bag drop points may move out of terminals and into parking garages or train stations in the near future as part of efforts to provide a "seamless curb-to-tarmac journey".
