Lufthansa Group pax numbers up 3% in Sep-2013, 82% load factor

Lufthansa Group reports (10-Oct-2013) the following traffic highlights in Sep-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 9.9 million, +3.0% year-on-year;
• • Lufthansa Passenger Airlines*: 7.3 million, +4.6%;
  • SWISS**: 1.5 million, -1.4%;
  • Austrian Airlines: 1.1 million, -1.3%;
• Passenger load factor: 82.2%, +0.6 ppt;
• • Lufthansa Passenger Airlines: 81.5%, +1.1 ppts;
  • SWISS: 85%, -1.1 ppts;

Lufthansa Group: "Compared with the same month in the previous year, which was adversely affected by two days of strikes at Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, the Group was able to increase traffic, as was expected.
