London Gatwick Airport highlights Oxford Economics impact report on Northern Runway

London Gatwick Airport highlighted (05-Feb-2025) a report prepared by Oxford Economics, stating that the gross value added to the UK economy from imported cargo could increase to GBP9.8 billion in 2038 if plans for the airport's Northern Runway are approved in 1Q2025. The figure is more than twice the value in 2019 and GBP2.1 billion higher than without the Northern Runway.
