Loganair planned Scotland's "first-ever electric flight" with BETA's ALIA CTOL on the Glasgow-Dundee route on 19/20-Mar-2026, as part of a two-week programme to gather data on zero-emissions freight and essential-goods missions across its network, according to CEO Luke Farajallah.1 The demonstration series also covered routes via Aberdeen, Inverness, Wick and Orkney, and was intended to inform potential Royal Mail use of electric aircraft for remote-community mail flights.2
