King Power wins multi-airport duty free concession in addition to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi contract

Airports of Thailand (AoT), via its official Facebook account, announced (10-Jun-2019) King Power International Group as the highest bidder for contract to operate duty free concessions at Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Phuket airports. AoT's board of directors will meet on 19-Jun-2019 to formally approve the award of both the multi-airport contract in addition to the contract to operate duty free stores at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. As previously reported by CAPA, Bangkok Airways in a partnership with Lotte Duty Free, and Royal Orchid Sheraton Thailand in partnership with Dufry has also bid for the multi-airport contract.
