Jetstar Airways announced its biggest-ever expansion at Melbourne Avalon Airport, including launching Avalon-Bali with A321LR from 23-Mar-2026, resuming up to daily Avalon-Adelaide from 26-Mar-2026 and adding up to five weekly Avalon-Brisbane frequencies, together adding 330,000 seats p/a.1 Victoria’s Government confirmed airport upgrades supporting Jetstar’s plans, including new terminal seating, security/CCTV, runway lighting and 500 extra car parks, creating 80+ jobs.2
