Japanese airlines reports mixed domestic yield and pax revenue in Mar-2015 quarter

Japan MLITT reported (01-Jun-2015) the following domestic traffic highlights for Japanese carriers for three months ended 31-Mar-2015:

  • Passenger revenue: JPY314,951 million (USD643 million), +2.6% year-on-year;
    • Japan Airlines**: JPY98,432 million (USD826.0 million), +2.2%;
    • All Nippon Airways^: JPY157,480 million (USD1321 million), +2.1%;
    • Japan TransOcean Air: JPY7501 million (USD62.9 million), +0.6%;
    • Skymark Airlines: JPY16,136 million (USD135.4 million), -20.7%;
    • Air Do: JPY6251 million (USD52.5 million), -4.1%;
    • Solaseed Air: JPY8623 million (USD72.4 million), +60.5%;
    • StarFlyer: JPY5191 million (USD43.6 million), -14.9%;
    • Peach: JPY4670 million (USD39.2 million), +3.5%;
    • Jetstar Japan: JPY8982 million (USD75.4 million), +69.3%;
    • Vanilla Air: JPY1139 million (USD9.6 million), +50.3%;
    • Spring Airlines Japan#: JPY546 million (USD4.6 million);
  • Passenger revenue per passenger: JPY14,300 (USD120.0)), -0.7%;
    • JAL: JPY15,400 (USD129.2), -1.3%;
    • ANA: JPY15,200 (USD127.5), stable;
