Japan MLIT reported (19-Dec-2011) the following traffic highlights in Sep-2011:

• Passenger numbers:
  • Domestic: 7.3 million, -5.7% year-on-year;
  • International: 1.1 million, -14.1%;
    • China: 243,708, -18.4%;
    • South Korea: 142,865, -14.5%;
    • Other Asia: 356,155, +0.4%;
    • US: 122,110, -3.6%;
    • Pacific Ocean: 119,049, -33.9%;
    • Europe: 100,059, -20.8%;
    • Oceania: 10,403, -46.5%;
• Passenger load factor:
  • Domestic: 69.6%, -0.8 ppt;
  • International: 76.0%, -1.9 ppt;
• Cargo volume:
  • Domestic: 79,492 tons, -2.8%;
  • International: 464,837 tons, -17.5%.
