Japan and USA near landmark aviation agreement conclusion

Japan and the United States commenced a new round of bilateral open skies talks on 07-Dec-2009, with hopes to finalise an agreement by the end of the week (Kyodo News/Reuters, 08-Dec-2009). The negotiations centre predominantly on access to Tokyo Narita International Airport.
