Japan and Indonesia expand bilateral air services agreement

Indonesia and Japan signed an expanded bilateral air services agreement, covering (ANTARA, 29-Apr-2010):

  • Capacity: Designated airlines of each side may increase weekly frequency to a maximum of 75 per week, double the current limit;
  • Additional services to Tokyo Narita: Indonesian carriers may increase frequencies to Narita from seven to 14 times weekly;
  • Codesharing: Codesharing will be permitted without limit on flight routes between the two countries, with the agreement also covering codesharing on domestic services;
  • Entry points: Covers the mutual liberalisation of incoming flight entry points from partner countries.
