Japan and France to meet to discuss bilateral expansion

Japan MLIT announced (02-Jul-2012) it will meet with its French aviation authorities between 04-Jul-2012 to 06-Jul-2012 to discuss expanding their current bilateral air services agreement. According to the ministry, the following national airlines currently operate between Japan and France during the 2012 summer schedules:

The ministry also reported the following 2011 Japan-France passenger traffic highlights:

  • Paris-Japan: 905,000 passengers;
  • Papeete-Japan: 35,000;
  • Noumea-Japan: 116,000.
