Indian airlines report 26.7% growth in Oct-2009 domestic pax

Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation reports (12-Nov-2009) the following Indian domestic traffic highlights in Oct-2009:

  • Passenger numbers: 4.0 million, +26.7% year-on-year;
    • Air India: 740,000, +31.0%;
    • Jet Airways: 785,000, +27.2%;
    • JetLite: 314,000, +23.6%;
    • Kingfisher: 823,000, +84.9%;
    • SpiceJet: 491,000, +65.3%;
    • Paramount: 61,000, -15.1%;
    • GoAir: 215,000, +186.7%;
    • IndiGo: 540,000, +34.3%;
  • Seat factor:
    • Air India: 72.8%;
    • Jet Airways: 75.7%;
    • JetLite: 77.9%;
    • Kingfisher: 73.5%;
    • SpiceJet: 74.7%;
    • Paramount: 86.2%;
    • GoAir: 79.9%;
