Indian airlines report 23.5% rise in Mar-2010 domestic pax numbers

Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation reports (15-Apr-2010) the following Indian domestic traffic highlights:

      • Jet Airways: 739,000, +31.7%;
      • JetLite: 279,000, +20.3%;
      • Kingfisher: 899,000, +6.5%;
      • SpiceJet: 463,000, +22.2%;
      • Paramount: 50,000, -27.5%;
      • GoAir: 206,000, +119.1%;
      • IndiGo: 574,000, +35.1%;
    • Seat factor:
      • Air India: 66.5%;
      • Jet Airways: 70.3%;
      • JetLite: 72.9%;
      • Kingfisher: 70.1%;
      • SpiceJet: 73.5%;
      • Paramount: 84.7%;
      • GoAir: 70.0%;
      • IndiGo: 74.0%.

    • Passenger numbers: 11.9 million, +20.7% year-on-year;
